Ahh the end is err......well past actually!
Movember has been and gone and I'm glad to say that my beard is back in full force. It was a very strange month of odd stares and cold chins (other people, not just mine). The Mo grew and weirdly people stopped noticing it. My work team seemed to slack off towards the end in terms of fundraising and then at the last minute we had a binge and managed to exceed £3k which I though was pretty respectable for only about 15 ppl actively working to raise funds. I managed a rather desultory £75, which when looking at my visitor stats on Blogger means that if all my visitors donated a quid then 15 of you promptly nicked thier donation back------Shame on you.
Anyway without further ado, the final masterpiece (delivered in the coolest pose I could think of):
So what do you all think. I'm rather proud of my effort, even if it is profoundly uncool and makes me look like I'm re homing an Amazonian caterpillar.
Anyway now that thats over I can start on my other projects, namely trying to pass my college course. So far so good, I'm nearly half way through my second year and they haven't kicked me out yet. Learning all about the wonders of Ecology and Countryside Recreation Management whilst trying to raise a 2 half year old and a 9 month old......and be a Contracting Manager for the NHS.
As an aside I'm starting to explore the world of ancients wargaming and bought my first army the other day, although my expereince with fantasy wargames will no doubt hold me in good stead. Also the rather more challenging WW2 period is beckoning (Flames of War) so I've plenty to keep me occupied. I'm sure at some point I'll pick up my stringed musicla instruments again and wipe off the dust......keep you eyes peeled.
