Ok so I said they may not be in the correct genre last week but me and the guys were enjoying a well earned pint (and tonic and lemon) after rehearsal last night when what came over the jukebox but:

The classic tune that every metal bassist learns to play, the insane sound of Cliff Burton coming in after the doomy bell intro is iconic. If you were playing that quiz show where you “name that tune in……” then this would be one. You can’t mistake that sound. Then from the intro hook to that lovely rolling bass line, and then Hammett and Hetfield come in. You should have seen it in the pub. Four middle aged guys head banging whilst sat down. Mental!
